Cookie Notice

Version 1.3 · Effective

InsiderGauge uses cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary for the site to work and, only if you accept them in the cookie banner, analytics cookies. We use no advertising cookies.

What we store

  • Sign-in session cookies (names starting with sb-), set by our authentication provider Supabase when you sign in. They keep you signed in, last up to 400 days and are removed when you sign out.
  • Theme preference (theme in your browser's local storage), which remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. It never leaves your browser.
  • Your cookie choice (insiderpulse-analytics-consent in local storage), which remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics. It never leaves your browser.
  • Bot check: on the sign-in and sign-up pages, Cloudflare Turnstile runs a check in your browser to stop automated sign-ups, processing your IP address and browser details. It is strictly necessary to protect the form and is not used for analytics or advertising.
  • Analytics, only if you accept: PostHog (EU-hosted) stores a cookie and local storage entry with names starting with ph_, holding a random visitor ID and session details, for up to one year. They let us see which pages and features are used and record sessions with everything you type masked. If you reject, PostHog is not loaded at all.

Managing them

You can change your analytics choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page; rejecting deletes the analytics cookie and storage. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block the session cookies you cannot sign in. For how we handle personal data, see the Privacy Policy.
